My lovely friend Katarah always has a knack for reminding me that the things I don't think of as being at all remarkable are actually creations worthy of appreciation. (I wouldn't have taken a photo of my French bread if not for him!) I've been making herbal remedies for more than a decade, so I hardly give it a second thought, but when I saw a photo of the cough syrup I recently made for Kat on his blog, I thought maybe I should post it here too. In case anyone's interested, the ingredients are: echinacea, marshmallow root, mullein, wild cherry bark, thyme, licorice root, and honey.
