I am so happy with this felted bag I made for Cammie for her birthday! She says it doubles well as a hat. Can't wait for a picture from her!
I knit these newborn hats and booties for a silent auction benefit for a local midwife. they knit up really quickly, and I love how the booties have little elf-points at the toes.

I started making these little cable knit swatches out of the leftover yarn from the stocking cap. They are so fun! It wasn't too long ago I was telling myself I would never be able to do a knitting technique as fancy as cables. And now look!
It's done! Warm, and fits its intended head just right.
This is the beginning of a stocking cap I started on the plane to California for the holidays. It was my first time knitting in the round on double pointed needles -- a process I have come to find thoroughly enjoyable! It looks scary in the books, but the videos on knittinghelp.com make it all make sense. Photos of the finished product coming soon!
I finished this the other night after an evening out with friends. It's warm and pretty and just the right length. My only previous experience with knitting has involved a lot of unfinished, pathetic little squares -- this is the first project with needles and yarn I've actually completed!
